THE POSITION
The Data Management, Integration and Reporting team is in the core of decision-making and impact for Data Systems, as well as defining a clear path for all Data related topics in FIFA. We are seeking a highly motivated and experience data leader with a passion for improving data and technology to optimize and define new ways of working with data, while generating value and helping to push this FIFA into the future. You will be working in a multi-functional environment and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and re-architecting complex data systems and pipelines, in close collaboration with key business divisions and data users.

- Be a key driver of the architecture design, implementation, and improvement of the data platforms, as well as guidance and support of data-driven solutions across the organization,
- Together with other Architects and Analytics team members, design and evolve a standard data architecture and infrastructure in FIFA,
- Work across multiple teams to align objectives and achieve coexistence and partnerships to the success of the business divisions,
- Help implement an Organization wide Data Strategy,
- Further enhance advanced data analytics capabilities required to enable successful business outcomesSolve technical programs of different levels of complexity,
- Work with solution engineers, data scientists and product owners to help deliver their products,
- Lead activities, projects and advances across multiple user groups and partners.

- Proficient in the techniques that go into producing designs of complex IT systems, including requirements discovery and analysis,
- Experience on defining and conceptualizing multi-purpose data systems,
- Working experience in data modelling and ELT principles,
- Experience and hands-on on delivering big data projects and knowledge of key components in these projects,
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills,
- Conflict resolution skills are a must,
- Effective Communication,
- Active Listening,
- Excellent planning, documentation and organizational skills,
- High sense of responsibility, trustworthiness and ethics,
- Customer and results oriented,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams with and without formal authority,

- Up-to-date knowledge on data platforms such as Kafka and Snowflake,
- Hands on experience working with real-time/streaming technologies,
- Experience with dashboard presentation and patterns,
- Experience in building API layers and Integration systems,
- Availability for possible stand-by duties.
