Your RoleAs Chapter Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our agile organizational model. You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of talented engineers working in agile pods. Your primary goal is to ensure that our compute and datacenter solutions are stable, efficient, and future-ready.
- Leadership: Develop and coach your chapter members in compute and datacenter technologies (e.g., server virtualization, hyperconverged systems, high availability, and disaster recovery).
- Strategy: Collaborate closely with product owners and cross-functional management to ensure infrastructure strategies align with business needs.
- Collaboration: Facilitate effective collaboration among chapter members in cross-functional pods. Support prioritization and successful implementation of technical initiatives, and identify evolving skill requirements early.
- Active Pod Participation: Actively contribute as a pod member to deliver on team goals and provide deep expertise in infrastructure topics.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate transparently with stakeholders to translate technical requirements into meaningful business value.
Your Expertise
- Experience: Extensive professional experience in planning, implementing, and managing compute and datacenter technologies in an enterprise environment.
- Leadership: Proven track record in leading and developing technical teams.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, NetApp, Cisco UCS).
- Hands-on experience with Linux (e.g., RHEL, Red Hat Automation Platform).
- Familiarity with hyperconverged infrastructures (HCI), public/private cloud solutions, and network/storage security concepts is a plus.
- Agility: Experience working in agile methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, team spirit, adaptability, and the ability to motivate others.
- Education: Degree in IT, engineering sciences, or a comparable qualification.
