To fulfill a project at our client in Basel in the life science industry we are looking for a

• Main tasks:
   * Migrate server from datacenter A to AWS or Azure cloud environment.
   * Installation of new infrastructure in the data center.
   * Webserver Installation/Migration
  
  
• Migration Execution:
   * Execute the migration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
   * Implement necessary changes and configurations to ensure the servers function correctly in the new environment
  
• Testing and Validation:
   * Conduct thorough testing to ensure the migrated applications are functioning as expected.
   * Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during testing.
  
  
• Documentation and Training:
   * Document the entire migration process, including any changes made to the applications or infrastructure.
   * Provide training and support to the relevant teams to ensure they are familiar with the new environment and any changes made.
  
  
• Ongoing Support and Optimization:
   * Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the migrated applications.
   * Monitor the performance of the applications and make necessary optimizations to ensure they continue to meet business requirements.

• Technical Expertise
   * Infrastructure Management: HPE Server and Storage, Dell Server and Storage, Cisco Network
   * Virtualization: Strong knowledge of VMware ESXi 7.x
   * Backup: Veeam
   * Cloud: AWS/Azure, OnPrem to Cloud Conversion
   * Networking & Security: Understanding of secure network configurations
   * Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux (variation of distributions)
   * Automation & Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages for automating administrative tasks
   * English (must) and German/French (added value)
  
• Soft Skills & Other Requirements
   * Experience with 21 CFR Part 11 regulated systems (eg. GxP)
   * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
   * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
   * Effective communication and documentation skills
