The company is focused on the discovery and development of innovative, antibody fragment-based therapeutics with a focus on inflammation and immuno-oncology. With our breakthrough antibodydiscovery and multi-specifics engineering platform, we engage in proprietary projects as well as collaborative research on behalf of partners in the pharmaceutical industry.

To develop Numab’s innovative proprietary therapeutic pipeline we are looking for a highly
motivated and experienced individual for a role as Research Technician/Associate within our DSP team.

Research Technician/Associate DSP 100%

In this multi-faceted position, you will contribute to driving Numab’s projects towards development and the clinical stages and be responsible for manufacturing our multi-specific antibody-derived therapeutics.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Specialize in chromatography – including affinity, SEC, and IEX
  • Optimize process steps to enhance yield, purity, and robustness
  • Support process transfer and scale-up to Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMO)
  • Perform cell culture operations at various scales
  • Generate high-quality data to drive Numab’s discovery and development projects
  • Contribute to technology development and continuous process improvement
  • Plan, execute, analyze, and present experiments in team meetings and company-wide presentations
  • Collaborate closely with team members to outline next steps and drive projects to success

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Completed apprenticeship as laboratory technician with several years of experience or a higher education in biology, (bio-)chemistry or pharmaceutical sciences, preferably with industry experience in the recombinant manufacturing and development of protein therapeutics
  • Proven hands-on experience with ÄKTA purification systems and UNICORN software
  • Hands-on attitude and passion for lab work is a must
  • Accurate and team-oriented work style as well as a high sense of quality
  • Ability to work on diverse challenges independently
  • Refined computer user skills (Windows, MS Office) and communication skills
  • Applicants holding a PhD cannot be considered for this position
