We are looking for and experienced and skilled Engine Performance Expert to join our ”Engine Technology” team within the Digital division's product management department in Switzerland. In this role, you will focus on the development and application of domain-specific analytics to optimize engine performance. Your expertise will drive the creation of advanced tools and software solutions designed to enhance efficiency and reduce emissions of engines in our customers fleet.

Your responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in engine performance to support the development of innovative analytics tools and software solutions.

• You will engage in engineering work related to engine tuning, turbocharger matching, thermodynamic simulations, and proposal of adjustments of the engine control system for Engine Part Load Optimization (EPLO).

• Develop and maintain analytic models for Tekomar XPERT including support for operations (tools and expertise) related to production of engine specific configurations.

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders related to product and consulting offerings.

• Render customer and troubleshooting support (2nd level) for Tekomar products in service.

Your background

• Completed degree in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering or similar)

• Deep understanding of internal combustion engines, turbochargers and latest engine control concepts

• Experience working in engine technology (simulation, thermodynamics) within industrial environment

• Experience in developing analytical models

• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills

• Solution-oriented, autonomous, and proactive working style

• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn and improve

• Team player, able to communicate to people with different backgrounds and skill sets

• Knowledge of agile product development and marine market

• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
