Associate Director - Global Market Access & Vaccine Pricing Strategy

Job description:
  • Develop and implement global pricing, reimbursement, and access strategies for Qdenga
  • Conduct payer segmentation and engagement planning (e.g., GAVI, UNICEF, PAHO)
  • Lead scenario analysis and value strategy planning for key markets
  • Support lifecycle pricing based on evidence, competition, and WHO policies
  • Guide regional/local teams in executing access strategies aligned with global direction
  • Collaborate on Global Value Dossiers, pricing models, and tender participation
  • Engage with policymakers and NITAGs to secure inclusion in immunization programs
  • Use digital tools (e.g., Dengue.com) and AI to optimize pricing and value communication
About the customer:

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company leading innovation in the vaccine space. With a presence in key global markets and a commitment to public health, they are dedicated to expanding access to life-saving vaccines such as Qdenga.

Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in public health, health economics, pharmacy, or related field (MBA, MSc, MPH, PharmD)
  • 5+ years of experience in Market Access, Pricing, HEOR, or Public Affairs
  • Strong knowledge of vaccine pricing and procurement frameworks (e.g., HTA, GAVI, PAHO)
  • Experience working with global payer stakeholders and public health systems
  • Proven experience in emerging markets and complex negotiation environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages a plus
Nice to have:
  • Experience with PDP agreements, volume-based pricing, and tech transfers
  • Background in financing systems in LMICs
  • Familiarity with tiered pricing and innovative access models
