The candidate will play an important role within the team and contribute significantly to its overall success.

Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following task area:

Global Pricing & Market Access Strategy

  • Develop and refine global pricing and access strategies across various markets.
  • Define payer engagement models and consider key procurement structures (e.g., GAVI, UNICEF, national tenders).
  • Conduct global pricing scenario analyses based on market dynamics and competition.
  • Support regional teams in aligning negotiation strategies with local payer environments.

Life Cycle Management & Competitive Positioning

  • Contribute to life cycle pricing strategies considering product updates, policy changes, and new evidence.
  • Monitor competitor activity and global market trends affecting vaccine access.
  • Assist regions in adapting strategies in response to changing procurement systems and funding models.

Regional and Local Execution Support

  • Serve as the central contact for regional/local teams to ensure strategy alignment and adaptability.
  • Guide tender strategies, contracting models, and execution of pricing frameworks.
  • Support development of value dossiers and health economic tools for payer negotiations.
  • Assist with NITAG engagement and advocate for inclusion in immunization programs.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and build payer engagement capabilities in local teams.
  • Organize and support local advisory boards for stakeholder insights.

Data & Digital-Driven Access

  • Use digital platforms and communication tools to support payer engagement.
  • Apply AI-driven analytics, real-world data, and forecasting to inform pricing and access decisions.

Profile

To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must have:

  • Advanced degree in health economics, public health, business, pharmacy, or related field (MBA, MSc, MPH, PharmD preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Market Access, Pricing, HEOR, or Public Affairs, with a strong focus on vaccines.
  • Deep understanding of global vaccine reimbursement frameworks, public procurement dynamics, and multi-lateral funding mechanisms (e.g., GAVI, PAHO, UNICEF, national HTA agencies, and NIPs).
  • Proven ability to engage with payers, policymakers, and health system stakeholders to shape vaccine access policies.
  • Experience working in emerging markets, with direct exposure to vaccine pricing and reimbursement negotiations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams across global, regional, and country levels.
