Manufacturing Methodology Engineer (group leader)

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing management role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing/project management processes, methodologies, and standards.
  • Project management and highly methodological approach (Project Management certification is an asset).
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory standards and requirements is an asset.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, direct and indirect reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity of building organizational relationships.
  • Strong proactive problem-solving approach
  • Deep knowledge of Process Improvement tools and methodologies (JIT, DMAIC).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft package tools (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint).
  • Very good level in French and English

  • Ensure that project execution happens within the process flow, without disruptions.
  • Ensure proper material is allocated to the right project phase, in the right quantity and timing and within the right quality standards.
  • Ensure proper material allocation in the right Streamline flow (SLA), with no stock cumulation (JIT).
  • Ensure proper technical evaluation in the frame of make/buy decisional process.
  • Ensure proper alignment and regular interaction with main stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement efficient manufacturing methods to optimize project execution processes and minimize waste.
  • Ensure proactive support to project execution by implementing Simultaneous Engineering.
  • Hire, train, and supervise Manufacturing Methodology team members (8-10 p.).
  • Assess team performance and provide feedback and development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Provide training and support to teams on new processes and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure proper projects follow up and support by direct collaboration with Project Managers & Mechanical Engineers.
  • Ensure proactive support in case of urgent situation, in order to avoid any project delay.
  • Ensure all processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and operational standards (ESG).
