Quality Supplier Engineer

The Position

As “Supplier Quality Engineer “, you will be responsible for ensuring and improving the quality of purchased parts throughout the entire product life cycle from the first serial part delivered through First Article Inspection (FAI) to serial deliveries. The main responsibilities for this role are as follows:

Supplier improvement

  • Manage a portfolio of suppliers and develop them to reach Parker requirements in term of product conformity and process compliance
  • Manage introduction of new suppliers and contribute to the supplier strategy deployment
  • Manage supplier performance record through adequate KPI follow-up
  • Contribute to work transfer risk analysis and execution
  • Execute supplier audits and manage audit findings

Supplier Product Management

  • Ensure success of new product introduction at suppliers (inspection plan generation, technical documentation validation)
  • Manage supplier product non-conformance report opening and closure using Zero Defaut tools
  • Validation of supplier FAI Reports
  • Manage concession request from supplier and ensure implementation of corrective actions

Other tasks

  • Perform internal audit
  • Take part of Kaizen activities

Your Profile

  • Engineering Degree (HES/EPF or equivalent) preferably in electronics or any other related field (mechanical, microengineering, etc)
  • 3 years of experience in a similar position within an industrial environment
  • Proficient with problem-solving methods and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to deal with people at all levels of the organization
  • Autonomous, collaborative and team-oriented
  • Hands-on, fast learner, with the ability to work in a changing environment,
  • Fluent in both French and English
