Laboratory technician (m/f/d) in microbiological quality control, microbiology group - microbiological/ GMP/ PC skills/ German

Project: For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a laboratory technician (m/f/d).

Background:
The "Microbiology Kaiseraugst" group is part of the Microbiology Section within the "Quality Control for Commercial Drug Products" department in Kaiseraugst. The group consists of three teams. These include the Sterile Testing Laboratory, the Endotoxin Laboratory, and the Microbial Identification Laboratory. As a Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) in the Microbial Identification team in pharmaceutical quality control, you will ensure reliable and efficient microbiological analysis for our manufacturing customers at the Basel and Kaiseraugst sites, thus ensuring the safety of our products and thus the well-being of our patients. You will be responsible for conducting and evaluating microbial identification using various methods such as microscopy or MALDI-TOF. Further areas of expertise may follow, depending on qualifications.

The perfect candidate: has completed a degree in biology, microbiology, or a comparable field and 1-3 years of practical experience in a microbiological and GMP-regulated environment. They work precisely, independently, and responsibly, bring team spirit and flexibility, and communicate fluently in German. They also possess solid computer skills and impress with a structured, meticulous approach to their work.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Analytical and preparatory cross-group activities in the three laboratories,
• Germ identification, sterility and endotoxin
• Carrying out MALDI-TOF analysis, subculturing of germs, sample receipt and result recording in the LIMS system and paper documentation
• Carrying out environmental monitoring in the laboratory zone
• GMP-compliant logging of work and results

Must Haves:
• Completed training in biology, microbiology or similar
• 1-3 years of practical work experience in a microbiological environment
• Work experience in a GMP environment
• Fluent written and spoken German skills
• Clean, precise and independent way of working
• Responsible, team-oriented and flexible
• Good PC skills
