Our client, a successful and continuously international growing consumer brand in the Zurich area, is looking for a Product Quality Specialist (d/f/m) to join their international team. The role is based primarily in the Zurich office and the initial contract is for 12 months with a strong possibility of extension or permanent hire.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks areas:

• Developing and maintaining robust product non-conformance data reports and dashboards to drive data-informed decisions

• Monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating post-production product quality data and trends

• Conducting timely investigations, initial impact assessments, and risk evaluations for product non-conformance, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders

• Collaborating closely with R&D, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to facilitate product improvement initiatives and leading/participating in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) discussions

• Managing and coordinating global quality inspections across the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) network

• Performing product quality inspections at HQ and Zurich warehouse and preparing quality reports

• Managing the end-to-end vendor claim process

• Establishing and writing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure process efficiency and clarity

• Supporting the manager and team by covering duties during their absence

Profile

In order to be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must have:

• At least 2 years of work experience in a quality-related role in the apparel, footwear, sporting goods industry, or a similar field

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field

• Proven track record of successful Project Management

• Pro-active, structured problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset

• Expertise in analyzing complex data and translating quality metrics into actionable business outcomes

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple stakeholders and projects independently

• Effective communication and excellent presentation skills

• Exceptional attention to detail for both product inspection and data accuracy

• Solid understanding of Supply Chain Management

• Highly motivated, results-oriented professional thriving in a self-driven, hands-on, entrepreneurial international environment

• Proficiency in written and spoken English
