Automation Technician – Installation, Commissioning

Your Role

As part of a highly skilled technical team, you will play a key role in the installation, commissioning, and monitoring of innovative equipment, both in Switzerland and internationally.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assembly and installation of machines at customer sites
• International travel for installation and commissioning activities
• Assembly and installation of laboratory systems
• Preparation and planning of commissioning activities
• Mechanical and electrical assembly on site
• Execution of I/O checks and equipment start-up
• Monitoring of installations and participation in on-call duty

Competences

• Swiss CFC Automation or equivalent higher technical education
• Experience with automation systems, instrumentation and electrical systems
• Strong organizational skills and a structured working approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams
• Solid knowledge of automation systems
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Willingness to travel internationally
