SAP FICO Consultant (m/f/x)

- Maintenance/Support of the current SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling Processes
- Manage and coordinate rollouts of ERP S/4HANA FI/CO solutions across entities
- Lead and support the business in process design, optimization, and issue resolution
- Facilitate and implement business change requests in SAP S/4HANA (e.g. e-invoicing requirements)
- Investigate, propose and implement non-SAP solutions to enhance the Finance and Controlling processes
- Resolve incidents and service requests (ticket handling) in collaboration with external consultants
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and system governance standards
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to key users and stakeholders
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or Engineering
- Approx. five years of proven experience in SAP application support or SAP consulting, with a focus on Finance and Controlling
- Deep business process understanding in Finance and Controlling, including integration with adjacent processes
- Expert knowledge in SAP CO and strong integration knowledge to adjacent modules, experience in all implementation phases, (plan, build, run) and comprehensive SAP customizing skills including product costing, cost center, profit center and CO/PA accounting
- Solid knowledge in SAP FI; familiarity with Treasury processes is a plus
- Ability to evaluate and implement non-SAP solutions to complement Finance/Controlling processes
- Experience in rollouts and change management, including leading workshops and supporting business process design
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, combined with pragmatic problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate in a dynamic project environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of translating technical concepts into business language
- High level of initiative, accountability, and result-orientation
- Familiarity with Swiss SME's context and collaboration with international subsidiaries
- Experience working in or with manufacturing and FMCG environments is a plus
- Stylistically confident in English, good knowledge in German, any other language would be an advantage
