The HEIG-VD is looking for a
Assistant·e HES in geotechnics and natural hazards for the sustainable construction
Main missions :
In the frame of the “département Environnement construit & Géoinformation" (EC+G) and of the Insitute of territorial engineering (INSIT), Your misisons are:
You participate to the teaching activities and to the applied research on the domain of the geotechnics and sustainable construction, and they relationship with the climate changes. You contribute to the networking and to the development of the partnerships on research activity with other academic institutes and with external experts. You participate to the redaction of scientific papers and conferences documents. You are the reference tutor for student activities and projects. You help by the setting up and preparation of new applications for research projects.
You participate and give your input and help to the general activities of the heig-vd on your field of competencies.
Your profile :
Bachelor or Master - or an equivalent competency - in civil engineering or environmental science or natural hazards.
Good basic background and competencies on geotechnics, natural hazards in the interaction with climate changes.
Good basic background and competencies construction and civil engineering.
Capability to work on applied research and development, in collaboration with the industrial partners and with other academic institutes.
Fluency in French,
Activity : part time 60%
