We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Methods Engineer to join our team in Murten, Switzerland. This role will focus on improving productivity by analyzing and optimizing methods and processes, particularly in the production and assembly areas. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving digital transformation, supporting the ERP transition, and implementing digital tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Methods Engineer - Digitalization

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Analyze and optimize current production processes, particularly focusing on assembly lines and operations
  • Collaborate with teams to implement standardized methods and processes to enhance overall operational efficiency
  • Actively contribute to the Oracle ERP implementation, supporting the transition from Movex to Oracle
  • Lead the implementation of a new MES system to support operational excellence
  • Promote and drive digitalization efforts across the company, particularly through tools like Power BI and other software solutions
  • Initiate continuous improvement projects to enhance the site’s overall efficiency and performance
  • Provide support and guidance to the team to integrate and optimize digital tools in production processes.

Our Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (preferably in Industrial Engineering, Production, or related fields)
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, methods engineering, or production but fresh graduates are also welcome
  • Fluent in french AND english
  • Strong Excel skills, including professional macros.
  • Experience with databases and processing data, as well as KPI analysis
  • Familiarity with digitalization tools and technologies (Power BI, IA, ERP, MES, etc.)
  • Proactive, team-oriented with a interrest for new technologies and continuous improvement
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
