To support their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Legal Counsel to join their legal team.
Senior Legal Counsel
What you'll do:
- Independently advising and supporting the operating divisions in all construction law matters as part of interdisciplinary cooperation with other staff units
- Comprehensive legal support for construction projects
- Drafting and reviewing contracts (in particular real estate purchase contracts, contracts for work and services, project development contracts, rental contracts, property law contracts, orders)
- Independently handling legal cases in construction and public procurement law
- Independently conducting contract and settlement negotiations
- Representing the company before state courts and authorities
- Managing external lawyers
- Additional tasks: Regulatory / Compliance Advisory functions
Your profile:
- Completed university studies in Switzerland (lic. iur./MLaw) with Swiss license to practice law
- 4-6 years of professional experience as a lawyer and/or legal counsel, preferably with experience in construction law and real-estate law
- Assertiveness and negotiating skills
- Strong communication and team skills
- Quick grasp of complex issues, a high degree of pragmatism, solution orientation and the ability to communicate possible solutions briefly and comprehensibly to non-lawyers
- Independent, speedy and careful way of working
- High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
- Fluent in French and English; proficiency in German is a plus
