We are looking for a Cellular Assay Associate / Scientist (m/w/d) - Metropolregion Basel

• Contribute to the cellular assay function, which plays a key role in generating novel small molecule starting points for drug discovery.

• Develop, optimize, and execute cellular assays for hit characterization, high-throughput screening, and compound profiling.

• Actively help shape and evolve assay strategies to ensure smooth project transitions from inception to screening.

• Build strong, trust-based relationships with both internal teams and external collaborators.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Completed apprenticeship or a Bachelor's / Master's degree in a relevant life sciences discipline

• 1-3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry

• Solid practical knowledge in cellular assay techniques, including cell culture, assay design in multiwell plate formats, optimization, and troubleshooting

• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to clearly present findings to team members and stakeholders

• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Basic understanding of pharmacology and design of experiments

• Familiarity with automated liquid-handling systems
