Your mission:

• You will be to provide all aspects of Business Objects development and support to the users
• You are responsible for report creation/modifications and universe creation/modifications with understanding of the business needs
• You can daptable and willing to work the occasional weekend or bank holiday for system changes/testing outside of normal working hours

As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for a seasoned Business Objects Consultant (w/m/d) in Basel.

Your team:

You will work closely with the Tableau team and the Big Data team and the work is largely autonomous.

• Start date: ASAP, latest 01.08.2025
• End date: 31.03.2026
• Work location: Basel
• Workload: 100%
• Hybrid: 50% onsite, 50% home office within Switzerland
• On Call: depending on need, there might be occasional weekend work or work on public holidays required

Your Profile:

• Minimum of 4 years' experience of working with Business Objects
• Detailed knowledge of Business Objects version 4.3
• Experience with Business Objects support to non-technical users
• Expert level knowledge of SQL
• Great communicative person with proactive approach
• Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge of Business Objects version BI2025 is a plus
• Knowledge of Infoburst is a plus
• Knowledge of 360suite is a plus
