Job Description
- Lead electrical basic engineering for Waste-to-X plants, incorporating client specifications and regulatory standards.
- Develop electrical concepts, single-line diagrams, and system architecture.
- Perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, and protection coordination using tools like DigSilent and ETAP.
- Size and specify key equipment such as power transformers, HV/MV/LV switchgear, UPS systems, and instrument transformers.
- Coordinate interfaces between electrical systems and collaborate with plant layout planners on cable routing and equipment placement.
- Prepare technical specifications, evaluate supplier bids, and participate in vendor selection processes.
- Lead design and technical review meetings with clients and network operators.
- Act as product owner for electrical systems, providing expert guidance, developing processes, and mentoring junior team members.
Qualifications
- Several years of experience in electrical engineering, especially in power systems and industrial plant design.
- Proficient in power system analysis tools (e.g., PowerFactory DigSilent, ETAP) and relay configuration software (e.g., Siemens DIGSI, IEC 61850).
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and design electrical schematics and documentation.
- Familiarity with engineering tools such as EPLAN and Siemens SIMARIS (preferred).
- Solid understanding of project scheduling, cost-awareness, and deliverables for electrical projects.
- High level of autonomy, capable of prioritizing tasks and making timely decisions within defined limits.
- Excellent written and spoken English; confident in cross-functional communication and technical documentation.
- Competent in MS Office and committed to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
