Product Master Data QA and Test Specialist (a) 80-100%
Our client, a successful and growing Swiss company in the consumer goods industry, is looking for a Product Master Data QA and Test Specialist (d/f/m) to support their Product Master Data team during the implementation of a new master data tool. The position is temporary for 12 months, starting as soon as possible, with a strong possibility of extension or permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Hybrid working model.
Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following areas:
- Developing and executing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for product master data projects
- Validating data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in data import, transformation, and export processes
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects or data quality issues and working closely with technical teams to resolve them
- Conducting data reconciliation and consistency checks to ensure seamless data flow between systems
- Supporting stakeholders by providing QA expertise, training, and standardized testing methodologies
- Preparing clear and detailed test documentation, including reports on test results, defect metrics, and risk assessments
- Continuously improving testing processes, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and data reliability
Profile
In order to be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must have:
- 3+ years of experience in QA/testing, preferably in product master data management or data migration projects
- Hands-on expertise in data validation, ETL testing, and data reconciliation
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools, PLM systems (e.g., Centric), and ERP platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365)
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), and data querying (SQL or similar)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong commitment to data accuracy, governance, and continuous process improvement
- Fluency in English (written and spoken
