Privileged Access Management Security Administrator/Analyst
As the premier supplier to our client based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as an PAM Security Administrator/Analyst for a 12-month contract with the potential to go permanent. Onsite 100% based in Baar.
The PAM Administrator will be responsible for managing and securing privileged accounts across the organisation. This role involves implementing, maintaining, and optimising PAM solutions to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Administer and manage the PAM solution, ensuring it meets organisational security requirements.
- Monitor and audit privileged account access and usage to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to privileged access management.
- Collaborate with IT, security and development teams to integrate PAM solutions with existing systems and workflows.
- Provide training and support to staff on PAM best practices and procedures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and reviews of privileged accounts and access rights.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats related to privileged access management.
- Deploy the tool to cover other applications and use cases.
Important: Our client is looking for a IT generalist who knows Linux syytems, IAM, PAM and generally interested and eager, someone who can really grown within the role and have a agile mindset. Ideally looking for someone with 1 to 2 years experience who is happy to start in a 12 month contract and then potentially go permanent,
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years with proven experience in managing PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Thycotic).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python), particularly AutoIt for automation tasks
