Join our R&D valve team to expand one of the broadest valve portfolios available, to provide the right solution for every application. As a product development engineer, you will lead the design and development of new solutions, overseeing technical activities throughout the product lifecycle, including performance optimization, design improvements, and problem-solving for assigned components. As a specialist in this field, you will bring “Excellence in Flow”.

Your tasks:
  • Develop innovative products and production technologies in close collaboration with Product Management, based on customer feedback and product specifications — balancing function, quality, time, and cost
  • Take ownership of and continuously improve the assigned product range; support Product Management, production sites, and Sales in product-specific matters
  • Create detailed mechanical designs with support from design engineers and CAx experts; experience with CAD-NX is an advantage
  • Ensure product quality using modern testing technologies, analyze test data, and implement findings in the final product to meet all technical and regulatory requirements
  • Release products and technical documentation in line with our development process
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders across departments
Your profile:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on plastic technology or equivalent
  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a product development engineer with a focus on product development, ideally in the field of valves in the plastics processing industry
  • Experience in independently managing technical projects
  • Clear communication strength
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to summarize things and make them understandable for others
  • Good spoken and written German and English language skills
