Technical Designer Retail & Interior Architecture 80-100%

Studio Tonic is a design agency specialising in international retail design and high-end interior architecture. Our projects range from flagship stores and international roll-outs to high-end interior environments for premium brands, as well high end residential. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Technical Designer to join our team.

• Develop and produce high-quality architectural and furniture drawings based on design concepts and project requirements
• Translate creative design ideas into technically feasible and buildable solutions
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction documentation for international flagship stores, roll-outs and high-end interior projects
• Integrate lighting concepts and technical specifications into project plans
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulations and project specifications
• Collaborate closely with the design team (Phase 1), project management and external partners
• Support the optimisation and development of internal processes, standards and technical documentation
• Contribute to maintaining Studio Tonic's high level of design and technical excellence

• Completed vocational training as technical draftsperson, interior designer, carpenter or similar background
• Further education in interior architecture, construction or technical design (Bachelor degree or equivialent)
• Several years of experience in retail, interior architecture or shopfitting projects
• Strong proficiency in CAD software – Vectorworks preferred
• Good understanding of construction, materials and detailing in interior architecture
• Strong spatial awareness and technical problem-solving skills
• Structured and independent working style with strong teamwork capabilities
• Professional English skills (German is a big plus)
