Technical Operational Quality Expert

Responsibilities

• Technical link between Operations, R&D for plant equipment, quality-related questions and product-related customer complaints

• Technical support to establish regulatory relevant Omya standards (e.g. Nano, RCS, RMI, trace elements...)

• Establish QC standards/processes and promote their implementation across the Group

• Technical contact for Plant Labs. to ensure lab. equipment are aligned and approved according to the Group Standards including software suppliers and interface

• Support sites on Quality Assurance topics for internal alignment with Group Standards

• Identify business needs for new methods and support development (easy, fast, cost-effective) and roll-out across the Group (information & training, definition of standard equipment)

Requirements

• Auniversity degree in engineering / chemistry ora relevantsubject area isa must.

• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevanttechnicaland/or labserviceexperience. International work experience isbeneficial.

• Excellentunderstanding and knowledge ofone ormultiple Omya-servedmarketplaces(i.e., Polymers, Paints, Coatings, Adhesives, Cosmetics, Food, Pharma, Agriculture, Water & Air Treatment, etc.)

• Personality with an excellent serviceand entrepreneurialmindset, having a feelingfor providing the right technicaland labservice level toensure anddrive customer satisfaction

• Proven effectiveself-motivationto drive assigned tasks andtopromote collaborationacross the organization

• Effectivecommunicationskills(oral and writing)with the strongability to interact with individuals from a range of backgrounds and at all levels

• Excellentproject managementskills, incl. projectdocumentation

• Excellentanalytical skills to interpret data from lab, field, and customer trials

• Strong ability togive recommendationsbased on lab, field, and customer trial results

• Excellent command of both oralandwritten local language and English isrequired.Additionallanguage skills are beneficial

• Availability forbusiness travel up to 20-30% of the timerequired
