Hardware Development Engineer

In this position in a team of about six highly competent engineers and scientists you will be working on the development of X-Imaging Systems for our Radiation Therapy Linear-Accelerator and be responsible for achieving and maintaining the image quality of our products. In this function, you will work closely with other cross-functional team members within Varian.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain diagnostic X-ray components
- Circuit and PCB design for x-ray sensors
- Implement, test and analyze modifications and improvements of PCBs
- Responsible for achieving and maintaining the image quality of our products
- Characterization and analysis of diagnostic X-ray sensors
- Hardware and software design for production test systems
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Bachelor or Master (Uni/ETH/FH)
- Experience in circuit and PCB design
- Knowledge in flat-panel development is a plus
- Forward thinking, structured way of working with an ability to get things done
- Self-motivated, knowledge-seeking attitude with a strong desire for business impact
- Fluency in German and English language
