Lab Technician Protein Purification (60-100%)
CDR-Life is an innovative biotech company based in Horgen, Zurich where we develop novel immunotherapies against cancer and autoimmune disease based on our unique T cell engager technology. It is a dynamic mission-driven company with a highly collaborative approach. The development starts in the Discovery Group that designs, produces, and optimizes new antibodies in a variety of formats for the generation of promising new drug candidates.
To support this team, we are looking for an experienced:
- Maintenance and transient transfection of mammalian cell cultures.
- Perform various purification methods using state of the art Aekta systems.
- Perform basic analytical methods such as SDS PAGE, IEX and SE-HPLC.
- Support production of endotoxin low proteins.
- Support cloning activities.
- Ensure best practices of research, data management and archiving.
- Proactively prepare and/or organize required equipment, consumables and reagents.
- Technician with an apprenticeship or equivalent in Biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture techniques and expression is preferred.
- Experience in protein purification is preferred.
- Experience in basic analytical methods such as SE-HPLC and SDS PAGE would be a plus.
- Experience in basic molecular biology techniques would be a plus.
- Experience in endotoxin free protein production would be a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
