In the context of the expansion of the team, we are looking for an experienced professional in the supplier quality assurance field that will lead from the quality perspective the relationship with several suppliers across the EMEA region.
Description
The Quality Assurance Specialist (m/f/d) will act as a business partner, will work closely with the suppliers throughout the entire lifecycle.
The core aspects and challenges of the position will be the following:
- Manages ongoing projects related with Quality Assurance.
- Leads or co-leads quality audits to analyse and ensure that the basic processes of the client's plants and suppliers are effective.
- Manages audit activities by defining the audit objective, defining audit requirements scheduling audits with suppliers, conduction opening & closing meetings and performing audits.
- Updates the audit tracking database with audit schedule, audit report and audit observations.
- Ranks suppliers according to the client's risk profile.
- Evaluates suppliers and quality systems to ensure full compliance to the client and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Leads and facilitates improvement initiatives which ensure that all supplier's material and processes can meet the high standards.
- Works with R&D, Regional and Global Quality Assurance, Product Development, Technical Services, and other parties to define product critical features or requirements for materials.
- Analyzes accuracy and capability of supplier processes, procedures, and equipment to meet quality parameters.
Profile
For this challenging and rewarding position, the ideal candidate should have: ·
- Successfully completed bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical field such as Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Microbiology
- Qualification on continuous improvement methodologies and tools like Lean, Six Sigma or 5S would be a plus
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of quality assurance in an international environment
- Business level fluency in English required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as technical report writing and presentation
- Team player and highly motivated to make a difference building collaborative relationships based on trust and respect.
