Automation- mechatronic engineer

Client:

An international group specializing in providing packaging quality inspection solutions for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and food industries.

Position:

We are looking for a motivated engineer with a technical background. Ideally, you have a first experience in automation, a solid grasp of basic physical principles, and excellent interpersonal skills.

This role requires a high degree of technical independence and regular travel within Europe (50 % travel on site during weekdays).

Responsibilities:

• Install and set up the machines at customer facilities across Europe
• Execute operational qualification (OQ) protocols to ensure performance standards
• Provide comprehensive training to customers on machine operation and maintenance
• Diagnose and repair technical issues, either onsite or remotely via video support
• Develop and optimize test methods by analyzing and adjusting machine parameters

Profile:

• A degree in engineering and technical training in fields such as mechatronics, automation, or microtechnology
• Knowledge of PLC programming.
• Previous experience in packaging, metrology, or quality assurance.
• A willingness to travel regularly for short periods
• Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills
• Proficiency in English at a professional level (C1 or higher)
• An asset: fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, German, or Slavic languages).
