Patent Engineer / Manager

Are you eager to contribute to our group-wide R&D department on a international level? If you have experience and understanding in developing products with a talent for data management, documentation, research and compliance and are ready to take on a pivotal role, you might be the right fit for us.

What impact do you have?
  • Definition of search strategy and relevant key words according to the relevant product categories, business areas, sales countries, future activities and business needs.
  • Assessment of the continuous search for defined search terms for defined fields as well as evaluation of these and consultation with a patent attorney to define measures.
  • Keeping a watchlist and defining follow-up measures on a worklist after consultation with a patent attorney.
  • Preparation and processing of data for opposition offences for patent applications of third-parties that restrict the business of the Mibelle Group.
  • Registering patents for innovations in collaboration with a patent attorney.
  • On request, conducting FTOs for innovations / new developments.

What do you offer?
  • Education: Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college) in natural sciences (ideally in chemistry)
  • Experience: about 2 years of professional experience in a similar function preferably in personal or home care, pharma or food industry
  • You are adept at communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, IT savvy and a great colleague to work with.
  • You like to work in a international context and enjoy travelling to the US about two times per year.
  • You're passionate about chemistry in combination with patent tasks.
