For our partner located in Visp, GI Life Sciences is looking for a:

Logistics Specialist

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary

End date: 30.11.2026

Your mission:

You ensure the proper execution of logistical and administrative activities related to material management.

Your responsibilities:

Administrative & analytical tasks (approx. 60%) :

• Execute and monitor SAP processes (material withdrawals, consumptions, planning, etc.).
• Ensure accurate and efficient material management.
• Support the department with administrative tasks (SAP, MES, and, if applicable, EWM).
• Ensure data reliability and compliance with internal processes.

Operational tasks (approx. 40%) :

• Perform replenishment, inventory and stock level checks.
• Physically handle materials (moving pallets, order picking, etc.).
• Provide support in case of operational issues or short-term logistical bottlenecks.
• Work closely with warehouse, production, and supply chain teams.

Your profile:

• Fluent in French & English, or English & German.
• Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or an industrial environment.
• Proficiency with SAP (logistics modules).
• Comfortable in both operational and administrative environments.
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and accuracy in data management.
• Ability to work in a team and manage unexpected situations.
• Physical ability to perform material handling tasks.
