Services Automation & Software Engineer (M-F) – 100%

You ensure, alone and/or in close collaboration with the After-Sales and Tests teams, the development and updating of software and related documentation for our products both for internal and external customers.

Your role

• Develop, improve and update control systems in collaboration with the Automation, After-Sales and Tests teams
• Act as the main contact for the After-Sales service for troubleshooting and help customers with control command problems
• Analyse customer problems reported by the After-Sales service and describe them in such a way as to facilitate their resolution by the Automation department
• Calculate the costs associated with control systems when customers request system upgrades
• Support commissioning engineers and technicians in resolving control encountered during maintenance or troubleshooting operations (on site or remotely)
• Assist the Testing and R&D departments with customer testing in the event of specific Automation
• Train the Services Department staff in Automation-related topics

Your profile

• You have a degree in automation and have experience in an industrial environment (minimum 2 years)
• You master programming languages for programmable control systems
• You are familiar with Siemens software tools (TIA Portal, STEP 7)
• You have knowledge of GAMP5 guidelines, as well as 21 CFR part 11 for electronic records & electronic signatures
• You have good knowledge of English and French, German is a plus
• You are willing to travel regularly (sometimes up to 40% of the time)
