We are looking for a permanent position for our client based in the canton of Bern.
Tasks
- Develop and implement local quality procedures and work instructions to align with contractual requirements, local standards and Quality Management System
- Conduct internal and external quality audits and reviews
- Prepare, collect (from vendors), review, and submit comprehensive data packages to customers
- Manage delivery and acceptance events (e.g., materials, platforms) in collaboration with customers
- Handle QA-related issues with local subcontractors and suppliers
- Investigate and analyze non-conformances through Root Cause Analysis and coordinate approvals with customers
- Perform Source Inspection at sub-contractor's facilities
- Conduct acceptance inspections on incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management
- Background in Electronics, Mechanics or System Engineering – an advantage
- Knowledge in Swiss Federal Acts requirements – an advantage
- Experience in quality conformity audits
- Hands-on experience in source inspections of cables, mechanical and electrical assemblies, and complex systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex system delivery events
- Experience working with the Swiss Army – an advantage
