For our Swiss operations in Dagmersellen we are looking for a motivated, team-oriented, and forward-thinking. In this varied and independent position, you will be responsible within the engineering team for professional, cost-effective and timely completion of projects in the field of cigarette production and packaging.
Position:
As the Engineering Project Manager (m/f/d) you will:
- Own the full project lifecycle – from feasibility assessments and technical concept creation to hands-on implementation – with a focus on high-impact engineering solutions in production and logistics.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying machine optimization opportunities and implementing smart upgrades that enhance efficiency and performance.
- Lead with strategy and precision – take charge of project execution and financial oversight using the IWS Initiative Management (IM) Pillar to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration – work closely with global Engineering and R&D teams while building strong partnerships with both local and international suppliers.
- Explore and shape future opportunities – conduct feasibility studies of market-needs in cooperation with our suppliers
Requirements:
- A technical degree (BSc/MSc) preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Proven project management experience in a technical engineering environment, with experience within the FMCG sector being a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and deliver actionable solutions
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus
