Nutreco Exploration – IT and Project Solutions Coordinator
Are you the hands-on person with common sense with some life-experience that enjoys to support her/his colleagues in many areas, and to help our company continue to grow? Did you feel your IT support role was too much of only IT, or did you feel your technical job was too much focused on technical only? Then you may be the right person for us!
Nutreco Switzerland GmbH is home to Nutreco Exploration (NutEx), the ingredient development partner for Nutreco’s global animal nutrition businesses: Trouw Nutrition (land animals) and Skretting (aquaculture). We discover, develop, and produce novel feed ingredients using cutting-edge Phytotechnology and Microtechnology, improving the health and welfare of both aquatic and land animals through science-based, sustainable innovation.
Our ambition is to build a proprietary portfolio of high-impact products, supported by patents, regulatory approvals, and a deep understanding of the biological systems we serve.
From our “Garden of the Future” in Arbon, Switzerland, we work as a tight-knit team of around 25 experts, collaborating daily in an agile, cross-functional setup. While we’re part of Nutreco — a global company with over 11,000 employees — NutEx has the dynamic, hands-on feel of a fast-paced innovation hub. We value curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning, and we believe strong teamwork drives better science and better business.
About the Role
This role is a combination of project coordination, IT support and multiple diverse activities that vary from day to day. Collaboration and service orientation are key to be successful and to enjoy this role. You know how to organize small and sometimes larger projects (one example: organize and coordinate expansion of two of our top-quality gardens, coordinating between internal stakeholders and external suppliers). But you also enjoy getting the WiFi network back online, how to get a laptop going again (together with your colleagues from international IT support). And you know what a screw driver is and enjoy to use it now and then.
Your tasks will be to:
- Organize, coordinate and execute small and larger projects in the area of facility, IT, changes/additions in office space and lab space, etc etc.
- Organize and coordinate all IT support – connect between NutEx employees and centralized Nutreco second line IT support.
- Execute basic, first-line IT support within NutEx.
- Organize and coordinate collaboration with various external service providers.
- Multiple other activities varying from day-to-day, with room to grow as the NutEx organization scales up over time.
